Anxious Arrival At The Hospital
When Lisa and Mark arrived at the hospital, they appeared both excited and nervous. Mark’s eyes flew around the room and Lisa’s hands shook a little as they came toward me. In an attempt to calm them, I tried to smile reassuringly. I said, “Everything went well,” in an attempt to settle things down. I wondered what they were truly thinking about because of the tense emotions they were giving out. Even though it was a significant time for all of us, their faces conveyed a different message.
