Laughter filled the room
As the evening wore on, the sound of laughing mixed with the clinking of glasses in jubilation as it spread around the room. For the time being at least, everything appeared to be back to normal. The laid-back and happy mood indicated that the day’s activities were proceeding without a hitch. Knowing that there was still a lot of excitement ahead, I inhaled deeply as a sense of peace washed over me.

It was time for the remarks as the dinner was drawing to an end. First to rise, Jason’s best buddy raised his glass high and began an emotional toast to the pair. His statements inspired grins and nods from everyone in the room because they were genuine and kind. As their close friend talked, I could see Jason and Lauren grinning broadly, adding even another great moment to their day.
