Arthur stopped to catch his breath as the sky became pink and orange. Feeling a strange need to stay a little while longer, he surveyed the garden. He didn’t usually hang around after work, but tonight it seemed as though the garden was subtly urging him to stay. Were the memories to blame? He couldn’t get rid of the feeling, even after a long day. The garden seemed to cling to him and beg him to stay.

Arthur made a choice, driven by a sense of nostalgia and the need to save something unique. He took out some seeds from his work bag. Just beneath the old oak tree in the garden was Jared’s favorite spot. It was time for Arthur to start over there. In an effort to preserve Jared’s memory, he wished to sow new seeds. For both of them, it seemed natural, like a resolution.
