When EasyJet was asked about the incident, the airline said it was because of an “issue at the boarding gate”. The airline contacted the affected passengers to issue apologies. However, will that be enough?

Aside from all that, there was an investigation launched. The passengers involved were also given flight vouchers and a refund. According to the airline, 19 of the passengers accepted their offer of a later flight to London.
