Most of the parts in Shaun of the Dead were improvised by the cast members. One particular moment was when Ed (Nick Frost) consoles his friend Shaun (Simon Pegg). The former tries to cheer up the latter by telling stories about the customers he sees on a regular basis. While the script said that they will meet at a pub, they made all of the lines up!
