Another legend in the industry who belongs to the list would be Orson Welles. In the film The Third Man, he improvised “In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed. They produced Michelangelo, Leonardo and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, five hundred years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.” Wow!

Meryl Streep was incredible in her portrayal of Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada. She was able to really understand the character and even invented her own lines. Remember the line, “Everyone wants to be us”? Well, it was Meryl herself who came up with it.
