The entire scene, together with the Cinderella story, was invented by Murray on the spot! In the Cinderella story, the script read “Carl cuts off the top of the flowers with a grass whip.” However, Murray said, “Get me some flowers.”

Remember Seth Rogen from Freaks and Geeks? Well, this star began to gain popularity after his appearance in Knocked Up where he played alongside Katherine Heigl. Just like most directors, Judd Apatow allowed the cast to improvise their lines and this is what made the movie so hilarious. One of these parts referencing Munich was completely off the cuff.
