The Wheel Track
Isn’t it amazing that the Wheel Track transforms in just two seconds? It can do this when moving by changing the wheel’s shape from circular to triangular. The wheel that can transform into a triangular track was created by Carnegie Mellon University’s National Robotics Engineering Center. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency funded this project, which received the Popular Science “Best of What’s New” Award in 2018. As you would expect, this has a significant impact on the ground.
