Panting

When your dog pants it is not a sign of danger, no need to be alarmed. It is their way of cooling down when overheating. Dogs don’t sweat like humans, so they are unable to decrease their body temperature in the same manner. Thus, a panting dog may be in need of water and just some cool off time. Dogs may be letting go of stress or pain when doing this too.

Dogs do have some similarities to human behaviors, they too display emotions through their eyes. When feeling under the weather or tired they look at the ground. However, when excited they open their eyes wide and gaze all around them. Raising an eyebrow can mean your dog is a bit confused. Important to rememeber these as it can help your bond and communication.
