Momma bear went to the side of the cub and started nudging him using her nose. She walked slowly to and from the sides of the road to show her young what it should do. Thomas felt really lucky for witnessing something so amazing.

However, after a couple of minutes watching the mother bear struggle to make the cub stand up, Thomas knew something was not right. He saw her go into woods, leaving one of her young cubs to take care of itself.
