The Hells Angels members are not allowed to talk to the media because they are secretive in their dealings. Not only does this protect the group, but it also enforces the rules that members don’t talk about one of their own to outsiders. Julian Sher explained that since it is part of their safety measures, members cannot talk about their codes. By keeping things between themselves, the group can reduce the risk of leaked information.
